My name is Dan Kozar. I’ve spent the last fifteen years teaching private music lessons to all types of learners. There is no greater feeling for me than helping someone discover and reach their musical potential.
I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Music Education from Capital University in Columbus, OH. I began my teaching career in the classroom teaching elementary music as well as middle and high school choir. While I was classroom teaching I began to teach private lessons. Eventually, I acquired enough students to do private teaching full time. I have taught as many as 50 students per week. I am very flexible in my scheduling.
Over the years, I’ve taken my private teaching to other areas, including dance and high school tutoring in English, Math, and Science . In 2023, I was selected as an instuctor for the Dancing Like the Stars benefit in Anderson, IN. But music teaching has remained a huge part of my life. Playing and creating music has so many benefits. It can and should be for everyone.
